Activities and Works

• Selecting area for establishment of more or less 1,000 ABASHAN Villages under ABASHAN to rehabilitate 65,500 landless, homeless, distressed, rootless family through identifying suitable khas land/ resume land/donated land and if necessary purchased land.


• Selection of 65,500 landless, homeless, distressed, rootless family in the Upazila level according to the guideline formulated by the government.


• Rehabilitation of the selected family by providing room in Barrack house according to the estimate and design of the ABASHAN . Providing ownership of the land jointly in the name of husband and wife of the rehabilitated landless,homeless, distressed, rootless family with title deed registered and muted.


• Providing two months VGF facilities to the rehabilitated family members of the ABASHAN Villages through Government’s existing procedure.


• Construction of more or less 1,000 community center, Mosques, graveyard and common land for cattle are to be arranged through local initiatives.


• Imparting practical & technical training and credit facilities to the rehabilitated family for implementing self-employment programme.


• Formation of registered co-operative society among the beneficiaries of the rehabilitated families of the ABASHAN Villages and motivation for the beneficiaries so that they themselves could solve their own problem.


• To ensure education for the 6 - 11 years old age boys and girls and adult literacy for the beneficiaries.


• Providing healthcare facilities to all beneficiaries, special care for mother and baby and motivating the beneficiaries to accept family planning.


• To create facilities / incentives for the rehabilitated families of the ABASHAN Villages, so that they could get them involved in the income generating and productive activities like poultry and goat rearing etc..


• To involve various government / semi government departments to materialize the above activities.
